Supporting Grande Prairie's Vulnerable Since 2015
With your help, the Saint Lawrence Centre has been supporting homeless and street involved in Grande Prairie since 2015. Our services provide a opportunities for the housed and homeless to connect with one another and we know that everyone can have a life changing encounter with love.
A program of Wapiti Community Dorm Society, the Daytime Drop In provides respite and support for individuals in need. Folks can rest between appointments, grab a snack, take a shower, use the WIFI, and get connected with community resources through the help of our knowledgeable staff and partners.
Drop In is funded by Albertans directly through donations and indirectly through the Province of Alberta and the City of Grande Prairie.

The assistance that comes directly from the community accounts for 83% of the organization’s financial resources. To further provide for the people, we are recruiting 2000 donors who are willing to give $50 yearly. This amount will cover a huge part of our operations. We still have a long way to go. Together, we can help more people in need.
