Are you passionate about making a difference in your community? We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our board and support our mission of providing shelter and services to the homeless and hard-to-house.
As a board member, you will play a key role in guiding our organization, developing strategies, and ensuring our services effectively address the needs of those experiencing a housing crisis. Your leadership and expertise will help us make a real impact in our community.

We are specifically looking for indigenous representation, individuals skilled in fundraising, and candidates for the Treasurer position. Your involvement will help us strengthen our services and broaden our impact.

Our Programs

Mat Intox Program

Accommodation for individuals under the influence or at risk of overdose is offered nightly and available on a first come first served basis.  This harm reduction focused program opens nightly at 10pm and closes at 8am.

A limited number of mats are available during the day for anyone who needs a safe place to sleep.

Shelter Cots

Beds area available for men and women in need of short term emergency shelter.  Once you are checked in, your bed is yours until you check out.  Cot residents can access their bed and the main lounge throughout the day.

Supportive Housing

The 2nd and 3rd floors of Wapiti House accommodates individuals who are low income and have barriers to housing resulting from mental health symptoms or substance use. Onsite support for residents is provided in partnership with Alberta Health Services.

Supportive housing is available by referral only.
